Envu, a global environmental science business, was poised to divest their company from a larger, global organization and turned to Global Prairie to help unite their team around a singular purpose and compelling vision for the future.

Envu needed to not only retain and inspire their best and brightest employees, but also ignite interest from private equity firms while growing and cultivating their customer base and key strategic partners.

Working with its diverse leadership team, Global Prairie crafted a refreshed organizational purpose—cultivating healthy environments for everyone, everywhere. This purpose was rooted in Envu’s commitment to ensuring that their products benefit each customer’s unique need, as well as protecting the health of environments around the world.

We then coached and rallied internal change agents to accelerate organizational buy-in for their new purpose statement, company values, and supporting behaviors, all designed to propel the growth of the newly divested company.

Beyond the purpose evolution, Global Prairie worked hand-in-hand with senior leaders on all aspects of the transition.

This included developing a strategic “growth plan” that outlined the company in its current state and future opportunities for potential buyers/investors. Messaging and a suite of other materials for merger and acquisition milestones, such as the intention to divest. Supporting leadership conferences with branding, event planning, run-of-show development, and speech writing. Creating a sustainability report to increase awareness of Envu’s ESG efforts. And crafting an overarching communications strategy, including a corporate social media strategy, and taking on the creation and execution of social content.

Envu’s CEO shared that the partnership with Global Prairie was cenetral in helping drive heightened interest from respected private equity firms, while also helping their leadership team enhance the internal culture at Envu.

When the divestment closed, Envu had retained all of its key leaders and high-potential employees, and achieved record-breaking revenue catalyzed by its refreshed and inspiring organizational purpose.
