Victoria Chun, the first woman and Asian American Athletic Director at Yale, faced the challenge of rebranding Yale Athletics to bring a renewed vision to life while still upholding the legacy of the Yale Athletics brand.

The task involved unifying the iconic Yale Y, removing the Bulldog, and redesigning the mark to create a cohesive brand for both Yale Athletics and the University. The result was a renewed and cohesive Yale Athletics brand, authentically reflected across the institution.  

From the hallways to the fields, we designed and executed inspirational environmental branding that celebrates the winning culture of Yale Athletics, weaving a compelling story that reflects the Yale focus on excellence in academics, in sport and in life.

Global Prairie became Yale's ongoing branding partner, extending their work to women-focused events which included branding for:   

  • The 150th anniversary of women at Yale
  • The 50th anniversary celebration of co-education at Yale 
  • The 50th anniversary of Title IX  


Global Prairie is also the environmental branding partner for Athletics buildings, including the prestigious Yale Golf Course, recognized as the number one golf course on a university campus.
