Anne St. Peter

Founder

Anne St. Peter is the Founder of Global Prairie, a purpose-driven global marketing firm with offices in the United States and Europe. Anne instills in our Global Prairie team an unwavering commitment to using business as a force for good. She is a pioneer in the field of purpose consulting and counsels organizations and leaders on how best to harness the power of purpose in their organizations to drive bottom-line results, employee engagement and happiness, and social impact. 
 
In 2008, together with Douglas Bell, Anne launched Global Prairie, a 100% employee-owned, Women Owned, Certified B Corp. B Corps are businesses certified by B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environment performance, accountability, and transparency. Global Prairie currently holds the highest B Corp score among the growing community of 10,000+ B Corps globally. 
 
Anne is active in her Kansas City community. Her current civic leadership roles include: Chair, Board of Directors, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City; Trustee, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC); Chair, Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Henry W. Bloch School of Management; Board Member, BioNexus KC; Board Member, United WE; Board Member, Civic Council of Greater Kansas City. 
 
In January 2023, Anne was appointed by Kansas Governor Laura Kelly to serve on the University of Kansas Hospital Authority Board of Directors. 
 
Anne served as past chair of the board of directors of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation; she was the third woman leader and youngest individual to serve as chair of the KC Chamber; and she is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). 
 
She has been recognized as a “Woman Who Means Business” (Kansas City Business Journal), “40 Under 40” (Ingram’s Business Magazine), “Alum of the Year 40 Under 40” (Ingram’s Business Magazine), and “Woman Mentor of the Year” (The Central Exchange). 
 
Anne graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Anne is married to Robert St. Peter, M.D., retired CEO of the Kansas Health Institute. They are the proud parents of two children, Claire (Yale ‘24) and William (University of Notre Dame ‘25). 

Douglas Bell

As the founder of Global Prairie, Doug helps our clients reimagine – and realize – their full growth potential. 

Doug has more than 30 years of experience counseling a wide array of regional, national and 
international clients on brand building and reputation management strategies. He spent the first half of his career as a global healthcare executive focused on public policy and public health issues. Since founding Global Prairie in 2008 with Anne St. Peter, Doug has overseen the growth of Global Prairie from an entrepreneurial start-up to a global marketing firm with nine offices in three countries. He is passionate about our Global Prairie proprietary research process to analyze and visualize data from varied sources, empowering clients with strategic and actionable insights to make smarter business decisions. 
 
Doug dedicates his charitable time serving on the boards of The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College and Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Doug has been married to his wife Kelly for over 30 years and is the proud father of Alex, Sydney and Sophia. 

Kate Sachse

With a broad background of global client service experience, including in the areas of strategic planning, brand and business strategy development, executive visibility, corporate reputation consulting, issues management and public affairs strategy, Kate has counseled Fortune 100 companies across industries on how to turn challenges into significant growth opportunities for their brands.  
 
Prior to joining Global Prairie, Kate worked for Edelman in Washington, D.C. Kate is a graduate of Davidson College. Kate is a member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program, a two-year program that cultivates leaders shaping the future of Kansas City. 

Kevin Driscoll

General Counsel & Managing Director

Kevin joined Global Prairie after two decades at the United States Department of Justice where, as a member of the Senior Executive Service, he advised multiple Attorneys General and other senior leaders on a broad array of litigation, policy, and public affairs matters.  Before joining the Department, Kevin was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis.  Kevin has also been a journalist, a speechwriter, a public policy analyst, and a high school teacher.  He received his undergraduate degree in English from Yale University, graduated from Stanford Law School, and clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 

Mike Kanaley

As one of the original team members at Global Prairie, Mike has helped drive the firm’s growth over the last 15+ years to more than 150 team members around the world, while promoting and advancing the mission and value of Global Prairie’s colleagues and clients alike. He has more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience and has led teams and provided strategic counsel to companies and organizations in a variety of highly regulated sectors, including pharmaceutical, biotech, energy and the federal government. Mike provides clients with guidance in supporting global sales and marketing efforts, navigating stakeholder and advocacy-related matters, developing and implementing thought-leader programs, handling crisis management issues, and developing executive communications.  

Prior to joining Global Prairie, Mike was a partner at FleishmanHillard providing strategic communications counsel to clients. He spent the first 14 years of his career working as a public-affairs strategist in Washington, D.C. Within the community, Mike serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, and as a member of the International Motor Racing Research Center’s Board of Directors. 

Emily Heintzelman

Emily Heintzelman is a strategic client partner and relationship-builder. With her two-decades of experience in creative, branding and integrated advertising campaigns, Emily uses an innovative perspective to build successful marketing campaigns from the ground up. When working with clients, she ensures all channels of communication work in harmony. Emily’s diverse portfolio spans sectors including agriculture, restaurants, CPG, recreation, as well as energy and the environment.  

Emily lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her family. Emily is passionate about sustainability, serving on the board of a business focused on farmland, aggregate production, and road construction.

Jenny graduated summa cum laude from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. Jenny lives in Cleveland, with her husband, Chris, and their two kids, Henry and Charlotte.

John Harcus

Leading our team in Europe, John uses his two decades of change management and strategic planning experience to provide winning counsel to clients around the world. John has experience across industries with a specialty in agriculture and healthcare. 

Prior to joining Global Prairie, John led communications at the European Rail Industry Association. After earning a B.A. in Anthropology and French from Washington & Lee University, John obtained a master’s in European Studies in Politics and Administration from the College of Europe in Belgium. An expat for much of his career, John lives in Brussels with his wife and daughter. 

Victoria Kanaley

With a focus on social impact programming, Victoria’s experience spans governments, NGOs, academia, nonprofits and private corporations. She has a proven track record of forging innovative partnerships, driving stakeholder engagement and advancing long-term objectives and program development.  
 
Before coming to Global Prairie, Victoria led a program at Georgetown University for developing economies of the Former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and Asia. In her community, Victoria serves on the board for the Kansas City Symphony Business Alliance.  Victoria graduated from Dartmouth College, with a B.A. in History. 

Brooke (Baader) Jackson

Her organization, leadership and collaboration ensure high-quality projects are delivered to our clients on time and on budget.  
 
Prior to joining Global Prairie, Brooke worked at a digital marketing agency, where she built a strong foundation in project management, web development and responsive UX/UI website design. Brooke graduated from the University of Virginia with a major in Media Studies and minor in Leadership. Brooke lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband.

Cat Greenwalt

Prior to Global Prairie, Cat worked for the digital marketing agency, Razorfish Health. Her work standardized budget management, risk identification and mitigation approaches across the agency’s large portfolio. Cat graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Advertising and minor in Art History. She and her husband spend their personal time attempting to project manage their two young boys.

Jen Aldinger

With two decades of experience spanning both agency and in-house roles, she specializes in global campaign management, brand strategy, CRM and loyalty marketing, and integrated campaigns. At Global Prairie, Jen brings a strategic, solutions-driven approach to delivering impactful and effective work for our clients.
 
Before joining Global Prairie, Jen served as a Partner and Director of Client Service at a CRM and Loyalty Digital Marketing agency. She served as a lead on the Global Campaign Operations team at Under Armour. Jen is a University of Missouri graduate.
 

Emma Brooke

Emma co-founded Project Homeless Connect Kansas City, a nonprofit that has connected thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness with vital care and services, and serves on the Board of Directors for Pawsperity. Emma graduated from the Greater KC Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program and earned the City Year “Idealist of the Year” award. A fluent Spanish speaker, Emma graduated from The University of Kansas with highest distinction and is also a Fulbright-García Robles scholar.

Jordanne McCoy

Before joining Global Prairie, Jordanne led marketing, brand, and communications efforts across B2B and B2C organizations, building experience in employee ownership and advocacy settings that strengthened her commitment to purpose-driven business. She holds an M.S. in Strategic Communications from Purdue University, specializing in integrated marketing communication and crisis communications.

Lori Boccato

Lori is particularly passionate about helping all businesses, organizations, and leaders thrive by defining and activating their purpose. She holds a BBA in Marketing from Emory University. Lori, her husband and their two children enjoy exploring their beautiful state together.

Rachel Bohn

Rachel previously worked at a leading strategic advisory firm at the nexus of business and global policy in Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of the Kansas City Tomorrow Leadership Program within the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City. Rachel lives in St. Louis with her husband and their son.

Adam Rolf

A Kansas City native, Adam serves on the marketing council for several local and national high schools, where he serves as a mentor for students interested in design. Adam is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Amy Young

She serves on the Board of Directors for Mothers in Charge, the Vibrant Voices committee for Vibrant Health and is an alumna of the Greater KC Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program. She lives in Kansas City with her husband and their two children.

Katie Reuschle

Katie graduated from The Art Institute with a B.S. in Advertising and now lives in Kansas City with her two kids. 

Annie Timby

Prior to joining Global Prairie, Annie advised clients on digital-first strategies across industries including financial services, retail and pharmaceuticals. Annie resides in Cleveland with her husband, Dan, and two kids, Emmett and Reagan. 

Brett Colasanti

Prior to joining Global Prairie, Brett has been a partner in three different high-growth firms. Brett is a graduate of Bowling Green State University earning a B.S. in Business Administration with areas of emphasis in information systems and marketing. 

Chris Bryan

Chris brings his diverse experience set to the forefront of our client engagements, building customer-centric marketing programs that deliver business results.

 

Chris is passionate about the outdoors, exploring new hiking trails with his family, and supporting local food banks.

Kyle Chandler

Steve Davis

Steve Davis is a technology and data science innovator, and the architect behind DataFarm, the proprietary Global Prairie analytics and AI platform. As Managing Director, Technology and Practice Group Lead for DataFarm, Steve pioneered the platform’s development from early applications of natural language processing and machine learning to its current capabilities using vectorization, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for large language model (LLM) applications.

Under Steve’s leadership, DataFarm evolved into the core engine powering data-driven services at Global Prairie — unifying diverse datasets, enabling advanced semantic analysis, and delivering predictive insights through custom AI tools and dynamic personas. The platform is now integral to providing client solutions across sectors including healthcare, agriculture, and purpose-driven nonprofits, offering clients actionable intelligence for marketing strategy, risk management, and audience engagement.

Before joining Global Prairie, Steve began his career in aerospace engineering, designing solid rocket motors and developing ascent guidance, navigation, and control software for the Space Shuttle and early Lunar/Mars mission planning. He brings deep cross-industry experience, helping Fortune 100 companies harness emerging technologies to transform outcomes. Steve holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Steven Snider

Managing Director, Technology

With over 30 years of experience, Steven brings technical skills and management capabilities to his current role of helping developers deliver web-based internet solutions. Steven takes pride in practical insights and designs that solve complex problems. 

Prior to Global Prairie, Steven held senior positions at Rosetta and Brulant. He earned his B.S. in Management Information Systems degree from The Pennsylvania State University.

Amie Hankel

Managing Director, People & Operations

Amie Hankel is an impact-driven organizer and team builder. Across the two continents that Global Prairie calls home, Amie works to foster a best-in-class team culture. Amie oversees talent operations, our award-winning health and wellness program, the employee philanthropy program and the Global Prairie Charitable Foundation. 

Amie has served on the Brain Injury Association of Greater Kansas City board, the KC CARE Health Center board and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Healthy KC Committee, and she currently serves as a mentor for the Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce through their Metzler Mentor Program. Amie played soccer at Missouri Valley College, earning a B.A. in Non-Profit Management and Recreation Administration. 

Megan Bade

From recruitment, to onboarding, to the coaching of our team, Megan’s passion for our company and culture shines from her onto our colleagues. Megan started her career at Global Prairie in Client Partnership before she was recruited by the Global Prairie founders to focus on talent development. 

Megan graduated from the University of Colorado with a Master of Business Management and Organizational Design. A Colorado resident and travel enthusiast, she spends her free time enjoying the Rocky Mountain lifestyle with her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Daisy. 

Kirsten Green

Managing Director, ESG Strategy

Kirsten Green is the Managing Director of our Global Prairie Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts, leading the firm’s commitment to building a regenerative, inclusive, and values-driven economy. She oversees initiatives to reduce our Global Prairie carbon footprint and environmental impact, while also leading the firm’s health and wellness and philanthropy programming that supports the holisti wellbeing of our Global Prairie employee owners—helping them thrive in mind, body, and spirit.

Under Kirsten’s leadership, Global Prairie has emerged as a global leader among purpose-driven organizations. The firm was recently named the number one ranked Certified B Corporation in the world, standing out among more than 10,000 B Corps globally for its exceptional performance across governance, environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and transparency. This recognition reflects the strength of the ESG practices at Global Prairie and the culture of accountability and shared ownership that defines the firm as a 100% employee-owned company.

Kirsten is widely recognized for her ability to translate values into action—guiding strategy, operations, and culture with meaningful, measurable impact. Her work reflects a shared ethos with leading B Corps such as Patagonia, seeking to redefine the role of business in the world.

Through her leadership, Kirsten continues to advance Global Prairie as a leader at the forefront of the global B Corp movement, helping shape a future where employee ownership, environmental responsibility, philanthropy, and holistic wellbeing are the standard, not the exception.

Kirsten is actively involved in her community, serving as a Big Sister with the Big Brothers Big Sister organization. Kirsten and her husband Mike are the proud parents of their 10-year-old daughter, Leisl.

Kathryn Bolton

Managing Director, Finance

Kathryn Bolton is a creative thinker, an effective collaborator and the office’s go-to Excel expert. Kathryn oversees client forecasting and financial reporting. Serving clients across multiple industries, she loves working with diverse account teams to meet clients’ evolving needs.  

Kathryn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri with a master’s degree in Accountancy and a minor in Spanish. Kathryn began her career in public accounting, focusing on financial statement audits, internal controls and initial public offerings. Kathryn contributes to Global Prairie’s higher purpose of philanthropy through her pro-bono work with Lead to Read, a Kansas City organization that connects volunteers to read with elementary school students.  

Matt Heimsoth

Managing Director, Finance

Matt Heimsoth is an organized leader, a diligent teammate and innovative problem solver. At Global Prairie, Matt oversees accounting and finance operations to improve the team’s processes and results, helping all teams drive success for clients.  

Matt graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. With over 14 years of experience in public accounting, Matt previously worked at Arthur Andersen, KPMG and Grant Thornton. Matt is the past board chair of Wonderscope, a children’s museum in Kansas City, and a City Year “Idealist of the Year” award recipient. Matt lives in Kansas City with his wife, Julia, and their three sons.

Tom Hileman

Tom founded Hileman Group in 2003, merging with Global Prairie in 2023. Tom is a champion of developing holistic digital-marketing solutions grounded in purpose.
